DESCRIPTION OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Listed Real Asset Fund Management team of AXA IM – Alts invests throughout the entire spectrum of the listed securities (equity and debt instruments). The team tracks Real Estate and Infrastructure investment opportunities in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia.

THE MAIN RESPONSABILITIES OF THE ROLE

• The future intern will contribute to the team, focusing on three key projects: 

ESG integration across real asset investments 

The intern will contribute to supporting the real estate, infrastructure equity and debt teams in embedding and strengthening ESG factors integration in their investment and management processes. He or she will participate in developping frameworks, tools, solutions and standard documentation to help with portfolio ESG risk analysis & management, ESG performance assessment and benchmarking , impact assessment, as well as setting-up and carrying out engagement activities whenever relevant. 

• Portfolio management & monitoring:

  - Provide relevant sector analysis to support Portfolio Manager decisions throughout 17 sub-sectors

  - Identify relative value into both Infra & Real estate markets throughout 15 countries worldwide

  - Performance analysis, hedging strategies monitoring

• Companies’ financial analysis: 125 issuers followed within a preselected issuer-universe

  - Analysis of financial reports of property & infrastructure companies

  - Participation to roadshows organized by companies

  - Peers and valuation analysis

  - Present investment cases to the team

  
  

• Investment strategy definition and relationship with investors:

  - Support marketing effort and prepare presentation for investors

  - Analyse specific sectors dynamics, new asset classes or geographies

PROFIL

Education/Qualifications 

Postgraduate studies in leading business schools, engineering schools or universities Real Estate 

Experience 

Proven interest in the Real Estate/Infrastructure sector 

Previous experiences in a financial institution or in a real estate/infrastructure company would be considered as a plus  

Competencies 

• Team player, accomplished interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a team in an international and matrix environment 

• Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure, desire and flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment 

• Strong analytical and synthesis capacity 

• Verbal and written communications and presentation skills 

• Creative thinking, capability to develop innovative solutions 

• Fluency in English is required and fluency in French would be seen as a plus 

• Advanced skills in Excel (modelling)
